The dining hall is set up buffet style. There are three long warming tables that are set together end to end. The kitchen staff keeps the food coming and the various bowls and platters fill as each item is cooked. They host a large range of foods for all appetites ranging from cold salads, hot soups, various roasted and baked meats, a grand variety of vegetables in a rainbow of colors, and warm breads. Anyone from a vegetarian to kosher can find a well balanced meal. At the end of the third and longest table is an ice cream machine, various toppings, and a big assortment of sweets, even sugar free versions for those in need.
The seating is split into two areas. The first is located nearest the buffet inside the dining hall. The tables are square and each can hold up to me six students. The tables are made of black wrought iron and a terra cotta colored top, inlaid with the various colors of the school in a tile mosaic. In the center of each table is a thin vase with a local island flower, salt and pepper shakers, and napkins. The second area is outside. The long wall of glass has a single opening of double doors. The patio carries the terra cotta theme with large tiles. The tables are the same as inside, but instead of a vase there is an umbrella for shade and to keep the rain off. When all the table umbrellas are open, it creates a canopy from the rain so the students can still eat outside, but not get wet. The perimeter of the patio has many tiki torches, each filled with unscented oils as to take not from the wonderful food smells. The patio can be cleared of tables for some school events as well.
