To say the front doors of the academy were large would be an understatement; they are massive. The double doors, which are a theme throughout the school, are made of cherry wood. Each door has been carved with various symbols for protection and warding off evil. The doors have been inlaid with the various woods of the magical forest. They also have the school mascots carved on them as well. Past the doors are the main entrance. There are several halls leading to various areas of the school as well as a large double staircase that branches to each side at the top. The stairs and rails are made of the same cherry wood and the plush carpets are ivory.
On the floor in the center of the room, just in front of the stairs, is an intricate marbled design. The crest of the school and its houses have been intertwined in one large circle. The tile around this design is grey marble. The room is circular and there are small insets in the walls, at equal distances. Each inset contains a piece of art, be it a sculpture, pictures, or mirror. There are a few wing back chairs, sometimes students find this a quiet place to read, but mainly it's a place to meet when waiting on someone from a different house. Everyone crosses this area at least twice a day.
