The flight to the school had been quite eventful, Aria thought as she walked along the pathway towards the beach, her hand in her boyfriend's as she looked over at him. She had not known that Micah was scared of flying, of course she couldn't tease him too badly after her reaction when she thought they were going to crash into the side of the volcano, she was just glad she hadn't said something embarrassing.
There weren't many students here yet, her and Micah had managed to get on the first plane heading to the island. It was nice not having to find a crowd as they headed towards the area where they were told the luau was taking place.
As they rounded a corner, Aria gasped slightly as a large table full of all sorts of foods. “Oh wow...”

Micah, of course, smelled the food way before they reached the actual feast, the island breeze having carried the aroma quite purposefully right past his nose. The problem was that he wasn't really sure if he was actually hungry yet. The plane ride had left his stomach in knots. He hadn't told Aria beforehand that flying made him nervous and luckily she hadn't said anything about him having to breathe into a brown paper bag to calm his panic attack. She didn't bring it up and neither did he. As long as they didn't talk about it, he could just imagine that it hadn't happened at all. It was just how things worked.
They had only just dropped off their things in their dorm rooms before Aria dragged him out to this luau thing. Honestly he had intended to nap until she had given him a glimpse of the sexy purple bikini she intended to wear. Only now he found it unfair that she had covered said bikini with a dress. Cheater.
When they reached the table with all of the food, Micah echoed Aria's sentiment with a puzzled expression. Most of the stuff on the table were foreign to him. He had absolutely no clue what most of this stuff was, and honestly there were far too many vegetable-looking things for his taste. "Where the hell are the cheeseburgers?"

Aria couldn't help the small chuckle at Micah's question, “You never know, something here might be even better than cheeseburgers.” She doubted it, some of the stuff looking really funky, but others showed some promise.
She pulled him towards the table, trying to find something that looked familiar, until she saw the large pig in the center of the table and stopped, mouth open as she stared at it staring at her. “I think I've lost my appetite...”

Micah followed Aria's gaze to the pig and couldn't help laughing a little. "Better than cheeseburgers, huh?" he asked in a teasing tone, reaching out to poke the pig in the shoulder. His lip curled up at the rubbery texture of the pig's skin and he quickly ushered her a bit down the table toward the more appealing desserts and fruity concoctions. "This looks okay," he told her, picking up a piece of papaya and offering her a bite.
He watched her lips as he fed it to her and quickly had to clear his throat and look away. He was, after all, a teenage boy and his girlfriend was super hot. Micah smiled a little as he looked past Aria to the waves that were crashing up on the shore. "I always wanted to learn how to surf," he said, looking down at her again, his eyes sweeping down her figure and back up. "You really hungry for this crap or do you maybe feel like going for a swim?" Truth be told, he just wanted to get a look at that swimsuit.

Aria watches, a look of disgust on her face, as he pokes the pig. “Eww, ok, so I was wrong.” She cannot imagine who in their right mind would want to eat something like that. “I'm not sure I'll ever eat pork again....”
There is no fight in her as he leads her down the table towards things that actually look edible. “Much better than Porky over there.” She opens her mouth to accept the piece of fruit he offers her, her lips grazing his fingers as it closes over the papaya. “Hmm, that's actually really good. You should try some.” She leans over and grabs a small piece of papaya, holding it out to him.
She sees his looks, blushing slightly as she looks over to the ocean. “It's beautiful, I'd love to go for a swim.” Looking back at him, she gives him a genuine smile, looking forward to feeling the salt water on her skin, reaching for his hand and leading him down towards the beach.
